Heavy Vintage 18k Yellow Gold Size 7.75 Rectangular "A" Signet Ring / ca. 1960s
Heavy vintage 18k yellow gold rectangular signet ring decorated with engraved scrollwork on the top left hand corner of the face. The crisp scrollwork continues onto the shoulders of the substantial solid gold ring. The face of the signet is divided with a diagonal line, the bottom right hand side is engraved with a capital "A" to represent the name of the original wearer. The A is somewhat faded from wear.
The ring is in great condition, albeit it does have some surface scratches and other minimal signs of wear. A solder seam is visible on the bottom of the shank indicating the ring has been sized at some point in its life. It is currently a size 7.75.
The face of the ring measures 13.7 mm top to bottom. The shoulders taper from 11.5 mm to 3.3 mm at the base.
The ring can be polished upon request, I do believe the "A" can be polished off as well if you prefer to have a blank signet.
