Antique Solid 14k Rose Gold Jugendstil Ruby and Diamond Locket / ca. 1900s
Antique Jugendstil solid 14k rose gold locket with circular shape featuring an etched, curving design accented with two natural rubies and a single Old Mine cut diamond. The Jugendstil movement emerged in Germany in the late 1800s and continued throughout the early 1900s. It is closely related to the Art Nouveau movement with an emphasis on organic imagery and flowing lines.
The locket measures approx. 3/4" x 1" tall. It is in good condition for its age, but it does have a couple small dents and scratches. It closes with a firm snap.
